Cancellation Policy

At Snout Swap, we aim to provide a transparent and fair cancellation process for both rentals and second-hand product purchases.

1. Applicability

This policy applies to:

  • Rental bookings (local handover).
  • Second-hand product purchases (with delivery).

2. Rentals

2.1 Cancellation Before Payment

Users may cancel a rental before completing payment with no charges.

2.2 Cancellation After Payment

Once payment is made, cancellation is generally not allowed, except in cases of:

  • Item not available or misrepresented by the owner.
  • Verified emergencies approved by Snout Swap support.
  • Refunds, if applicable, will be processed via the same payment method within 5–7 business days.

2.3 Late Returns

  • Items must be returned on time as per the rental agreement.
  • Late returns may incur penalties, deducted from security deposits (if applicable) or charged separately.

3. Second-Hand Product Purchases (Delivery)

3.1 Cancellation Before Shipment

  • Buyers can cancel an order before the seller ships the product.
  • Full refund, including any service charges, will be processed within 5–7 business days.

3.2 Cancellation After Shipment

Once the product is shipped or out for delivery, cancellation is not allowed. Refund eligibility depends on the Return & Exchange Policy:

  • Defective or misrepresented items can be returned for a refund.
  • Items “as described” cannot be cancelled.

4. How to Cancel

  • Rentals: Use the in-app Cancel Booking option or contact support at support@snoutswap.com.
  • Second-hand Purchases: Use the in-app Cancel Order option or contact support before shipment.

5. Refund Processing

  • Refunds will be processed via the original payment method.
  • Payment gateway or bank processing times may vary.
  • Service fees and delivery charges may not be refundable, as stated in our policies.
